Features
It proposes. You decide.
At the end of each week Stryde reads what actually happened and says what it would change. It never changes anything on its own.
What it reads
Your compliance against what was planned, your session ratings, how your paces compared to what was prescribed, and how this week’s load sits against the last four.
Where a signal needs data you have not given it, the proposals that depend on that data are suppressed entirely rather than guessed at.
- Acute against chronicYour recent training load is compared to your rolling four-week baseline, with a safe band, and a separate check for the spike that a return from zero produces.
- Session ratings and pace driftConsistently hard sessions running slower than prescribed reads as fatigue. Consistently easy sessions running faster reads as under-challenge.
- A multi-week viewThree weeks averaging low compliance is treated as a pattern rather than three separate bad weeks.

What it proposes
A concrete change, in plain English, with the effect on the weeks after it laid out before you commit. Not "reduce volume" but which sessions get shorter and by how much.
If you decline a proposal, that kind of proposal stops being offered. The plan is yours; the engine advises.
- Missed sessionsNext week’s volume comes down, by an amount that depends on which sessions you missed rather than how many.
- Running flatIf a deload is already close, the intensity comes down instead of the volume — no point cutting a week you are about to cut anyway.
- A persistent niggleAn injury still there after three weeks prompts a switch to a comeback structure, carrying your progress across rather than starting again.
A weekly proposal
Red flags are not proposals
A small number of things are not a training question. Chest pain, a joint that has swollen, not being able to bear weight, numbness, or collapsing during exercise all stop the conversation and tell you to seek medical attention.
The engine will refuse to generate a plan at all while an urgent flag is present, rather than producing one with a warning attached.
A monthly report
Once a month Stryde writes up how the block is going — a grade, your compliance, and where your fitness trend is heading.
When the engine itself improves, you are told what changed and offered a rebuild, rather than having your plan quietly altered underneath you.
